Summary

NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER - Heisman Trophy winner, multi-sport athlete, special needs advocate, and positive role model Tim Tebow encourages children to embrace their unique qualities in his first book for children, a winning tale based on his sweet pup, Bronco。

Bronco received an invitation to a party, but he can't find the puzzle piece everyone is supposed to bring。 During his search, he encounters a variety of friends with their own set of worries: a flightless bird, an allergic goat, and a clumsy bunny。 The animals team up to find both Bronco's puzzle piece and the party, arriving to discover that the party is in their honor!

This sweet story of animals with different challenges and abilities is core to Tim Tebow's message to fans and friends of any age who have special needs。 Getting invited to the party is exciting--but bringing your own particular gifts makes it more fun for everyone。 Tim Tebow wants everyone to know that's how God sees them: special, unique, and essential to the party。

The idea behind this book is great。 It's important to accept people for all their wonderful differences, but I must admit I found the differences they used kind of weak。 There is a picture of a puppy using a wheelchair but this character is never mentioned and it was such a lost opportunity。 I also found the language to be very stilted。 In fact I had a hard to reading the book because the flow was just so terrible at times。 I want books that challenge my child not ones that use dumbed down langu The idea behind this book is great。 It's important to accept people for all their wonderful differences, but I must admit I found the differences they used kind of weak。 There is a picture of a puppy using a wheelchair but this character is never mentioned and it was such a lost opportunity。 I also found the language to be very stilted。 In fact I had a hard to reading the book because the flow was just so terrible at times。 I want books that challenge my child not ones that use dumbed down language assuming that children aren't smart enough to figure out what is going on。 How can children learn if they aren't challenged。 If this book wasn't written by a well known person it never would have gotten the recognition that it has which is a shame because there are much more deserving children's authors out there。 。。。more

A really sweet, Christian book for preschool aged children。 The dedication is very sweet and sheds a deeper meaning to the book。 Message is how everyone is special, has gifts, and is needed。

Children's picture book。 The animals are having a party, and they each got a puzzle piece in the mail with the invitation。 But Bronco the dog has misplaced his puzzle piece, thinking that with his bad vision no one would want him there anyway。 But Bronco is able to help several friends get to the party, by taking advantage of his special hearing and smelling abilities。 Alexis the goat has allergies, Chelsie the rabbit is clumsy due to her long ears, and Ethan the cardinal has a broken wing。 Toge Children's picture book。 The animals are having a party, and they each got a puzzle piece in the mail with the invitation。 But Bronco the dog has misplaced his puzzle piece, thinking that with his bad vision no one would want him there anyway。 But Bronco is able to help several friends get to the party, by taking advantage of his special hearing and smelling abilities。 Alexis the goat has allergies, Chelsie the rabbit is clumsy due to her long ears, and Ethan the cardinal has a broken wing。 Together the 4 friends join a larger cast of animals for the party。This book is okay。 It tries too hard to have a message, and the story suffers。 The text is very dense for a picture book and doesn't seem to quite fit with Chapman's lovely illustrations。 Also, as important as the message of inclusion is, it is watered down by choosing animals for the illustrations。 Probably a book that would have gotten more editing if not for the author's name recognition。 。。。more

Okay, so I knew I would have mixed feelings about this book and sure enough。。。。Pros:A very sweet story about embracing your differences。 A dog who needs glasses。 A goat who has allergies。 A clumsy bunny。 What seems like an odd group of characters is ideal for teaching children everyone brings something to the table。The illustrations are by Jane Chapman。 Who writes the Bear books (Bear Wants More。。。。yeah that one)。 Dying to know how she scored this one。 Cons:Once again, celebrities really shouldn Okay, so I knew I would have mixed feelings about this book and sure enough。。。。Pros:A very sweet story about embracing your differences。 A dog who needs glasses。 A goat who has allergies。 A clumsy bunny。 What seems like an odd group of characters is ideal for teaching children everyone brings something to the table。The illustrations are by Jane Chapman。 Who writes the Bear books (Bear Wants More。。。。yeah that one)。 Dying to know how she scored this one。 Cons:Once again, celebrities really shouldn't write books。 I'm sorry Tim。 But I really feel as if he has cashing in on his popularity (bordering on selling out)。。。。。and wow, he cannot write for children。 The dialogue was stilted and at times too excessively。 Ugh。 Yeah that's my con。 The con I KNEW would be。 。。。more

This book is delightful! The story tugs on your heart as you read about all the animals and their insecurities。 It’s heartwarming to see them come together and all make it to the big party。 The message is powerful and the illustrations are fantastic!

That was a hot mess。

Loved the idea that all the characters were invited to the party via a puzzle piece, and that in order for the puzzle to be completed they all needed to bring their piece to the party。 (So true on multi-levels!) Loved the line too that the party “was a celebration like no other。” Loved the ending as well – great message for children and adults alike。

This book is such a good read with a great message for kids & adults alike。 Being different is okay, our differences no matter what they may be are what make us special。 We are all unique, we are all special, we are all wonderful, and we are all needed even if we forget that sometimes!

The pictures inside this book are terrific。 I liked how the animals looked including their facial expressions, the energy that's emitted off the pages, and how colorful they were。 I liked the idea behind the book, the friendships with the animals, and how they cared for one another。 It’s the day of the party and Squirrel is excited! Bronco knows that he threw the invitation away but now that Squirrel is asking him about his puzzle piece, Bronco wonders where his glasses are。 With terrible vision The pictures inside this book are terrific。 I liked how the animals looked including their facial expressions, the energy that's emitted off the pages, and how colorful they were。 I liked the idea behind the book, the friendships with the animals, and how they cared for one another。 It’s the day of the party and Squirrel is excited! So cute! It shows how so many of us have insecurities and our we can lift each other up and help others to see the good that is in each of us。 I listened to the story and can't wait to see the book itself with the pictures。 Tim reminds us that God made us unique and we are made for a purpose。 So cute! Annie Downs read this on Instagram live Monday night and her sweet joy + Timmy’s quirky joy was the energy my Monday night needed! So fun!The book is cute。 It has lots of fun animal illustrations and an endearing storyline of friendship and inclusivity。 It very much seems like a Tim Tebow storybook。

I wanted to read this book based on the cover and title。 Little did I know that the author is Tim Tebow! This story has a lot of reading and some big words, so I imagine an older child would be more entertained。 I do love the glasses and eye patch。

I wanted to love this book, but I didn't。 As a children's book goes it was OK。 The premise was cute but the way it was written I found it hard to enjoy。 However the illustrations were beautiful。 I wanted to love this book, but I didn't。 As a children's book goes it was OK。 The premise was cute but the way it was written I found it hard to enjoy。 However the illustrations were beautiful。 。。。more
